Bri (Faery princess/queen of Bri Leith) ~ pronounced BREE

(rhymes with free) ~ See her story below

from the Faylinn Collection by jules d'An

(Celtic Fairy Art by Julie Sartain)

Bri was a Tuatha De Danann princess/queen and the daughter of King Midhir and Queen Fuamnach. Bri and her sister Blathnat were born and raised in Tir Tairngiri, the Land of Promise, but later relocated with their father to his crystal mansion in the fairyland burgh called Bri Leith.

Bri was the eldest sister, so she inherited the throne when her father and mother abdicated, but she always shared the sovereignty of her kingdom with her baby sister Blathnat, who was one of the flower faes. She loved a Tuatha De Danann Prince named Liath, but they never married because her father’s guards would not let him enter Bri Leith.

Bri’s portrait contains 86 different, individual photographs  and illustrations (plus digital painting & effects) from her striped socks to her sapphire crown. Her skirt is an inverted lily (from her sister’s flower garden), her shirt was spun from corn silks, and her crown, a family heirloom, is made of sapphire tears from the Weeping Caves in the mountains of Tir Tairngiri. Read more about Bri on the story card that comes with this beautiful photographic portrait.
